Implemented at Wahiawa Middle School, this project works to strengthen school engagement and support educational success among youth who are at risk for truancy. Project activities include intake and assessment for youth and families, “Why Try” Resilience Education Curriculum, Strengthening Hawai‘i Families workshops, service learning programs, kupuna workshops, and community connections to support families.
