Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii

The Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii is dedicated to serving Hawaii’s children, families, and communities with programs that strengthen health, wellness, and resilience against substance misuse. Formed in 1987 out of a spirit of business and community concern, CDFH is a highly regarded leader in the substance abuse prevention field.

Every child in the islands should have the opportunity to grow up drug-free. To accomplish this, we conduct nationally recognized family strengthening services, evidence-based programs for youth, capacity building with communities, training and technical assistance, and public awareness campaigns. Our Hawaii Prevention Resource Center also serves as the state’s center for alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention and treatment educational materials, resources, and programs.
