The Statewide Opioid Initiative brings together stakeholders from the private and public sector whose goal is to develop and implement a coordinated statewide action plan on opioids and other substance misuse issues.
CDFH is a member of the Prevention and Public Education workgroup of the Hawaii Opioid Initiative. The Prevention and Public Education goal is to improve community-based programs and public education to prevent opioid misuse and related harms. HawaiiOpioid.org is one of the workgroup’s initial efforts.
